How to Choose Your Andara: Learning to Feel Beyond What the Eyes Can See

A Simple Practice for Connecting With Your Intuition
Colorful Andara crystals in golden light

One of the most common questions I receive is:

“How do I know which Andara is right for me? Am I choosing with my intuition, or am I just attracted to how it looks?”

It’s a wonderful question, and one that opens the door to something much deeper than choosing a beautiful crystal.

It invites us to explore our relationship with our own inner knowing.

And here’s something I’d love for you to consider.

What if your eyes aren’t interfering at all?

What if being drawn to the beauty of an Andara is simply where your connection begins?

We sometimes make intuition far more complicated than it needs to be. We think we’re supposed to feel something extraordinary, receive a message, see a vision, or experience some unmistakable spiritual confirmation.

And when that doesn’t happen, we start questioning ourselves.

The irony is that all this questioning can create more mental noise than the original decision ever did!

So I’d love to share a simple practice that can help you get out of your head, connect with your body, and explore what you’re genuinely drawn toward.

The Heart Before the Eyes Practice

Step 1: Begin Without Looking

Before browsing the Andaras, close your eyes and place one hand over your heart and the other over your abdomen.

Take a few comfortable breaths.

Feel your body.

Notice where you’re holding tension and allow yourself to soften.

Let go of the need to find the perfect Andara.

Don’t try to become intuitive. Just become present.

Step 2: Ask a Different Question

Instead of asking, “Which Andara am I supposed to choose?” try asking:

“What am I ready to welcome into my life right now?”

Perhaps it’s peace.

Courage.

Joy.

Clarity.

A deeper relationship with yourself.

Or perhaps you don’t have an answer at all.

That’s okay.

Allow whatever arises to arise without immediately analyzing it.

Step 3: Let Yourself Be Drawn to an Andara

Now open your eyes and begin browsing.

Notice which Andaras naturally catch your attention.

And here’s the important part:

Don’t immediately dismiss an Andara because you think you chose it with your eyes!

Beauty is part of the human experience. Color, shape, texture, and light can move us in ways we don’t always understand.

You are allowed to be drawn to something simply because you find it beautiful.

Let that attraction be your starting point.

Step 4: Close Your Eyes and Go Deeper

Once you’ve found an Andara you’re drawn to, stop looking at its photograph.

Close your eyes again.

Bring your awareness back into your body.

Imagine holding that Andara in your hands.

Then ask yourself:

“How does the possibility of welcoming this Andara into my life feel?”

Notice your heart.

Your abdomen.

Your breathing.

Perhaps you feel warmth, excitement, curiosity, peace, or a gentle sense of connection.

Perhaps you don’t notice anything unusual.

That’s okay, too.

You don’t need to manufacture a sensation or interpret every physical response as a spiritual message.

Just notice your experience.

NOTICE. FEEL. ALLOW.

Step 5: Take the Pressure Off the Decision

This might be the most important step.

Stop trying to get the answer right.

Sometimes, when we’re desperately trying to determine whether something is meant for us, we become so focused on finding confirmation that we lose touch with our natural preferences.

So ask yourself one final question:

“If I didn’t need to justify this choice spiritually, would I still want this Andara?”

Sit with that for a moment.

You might be surprised by how much clarity comes when you give yourself permission to simply want what you want.

And if you’re still uncertain, walk away.

Come back later.

See whether the same Andara still draws your attention.

There’s no need to rush a decision or make a purchase to prove that you’ve received intuitive guidance.

What If I Don’t Feel Anything?

Let me share something important.

Not everyone experiences intuition in the same way.

Some people notice subtle physical sensations.

Some experience images or impressions.

Others describe an immediate sense of knowing.

And some people simply recognize that they have a preference, without experiencing anything particularly mystical.

There is no single correct way to experience your intuition.

And you don’t have to prove that you’re spiritually connected by having an extraordinary experience every time you choose an Andara.

Sometimes you’ll feel something profound.

Sometimes you’ll just think, “Oh my goodness, that one is gorgeous!”

And that’s perfectly fine.

The Deeper Invitation: Learning to Trust Yourself

For me, the real gift of this practice goes far beyond choosing an Andara.

It’s about developing a more honest, conscious relationship with yourself.

Learning to recognize what you genuinely want.

Noticing when you’re overthinking.

Becoming aware of when you’re seeking reassurance because you don’t trust your own choices.

And giving yourself permission to choose without requiring the Universe to provide a dramatic sign.

This is something you can practice in every area of your life.

And perhaps the most liberating realization is this:

You don’t have to turn every decision into a spiritual test.

Your intuition and your ordinary human preferences can coexist beautifully.

You can appreciate beauty, listen to your feelings, consider what makes sense for you, and make a choice you feel good about.

So the next time you’re browsing the Andaras, give yourself permission to enjoy the experience.

Breathe.

Get present.

Notice what draws you in.

Feel into it.

And trust yourself to make a choice.

Stop trying so hard to hear your intuition that you forget to listen to yourself.

Sometimes going deeper than the eyes can see begins with trusting the person doing the looking.
